Fresno City College standout Karina Rodriguez was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Two-Year College Players to Watch list for the upcoming fall 2025 season.
Rodriguez was one of 12 student-athletes named to the watch list with only two coming from the state of California.
"In the national world of college volleyball, this is a big deal," said FCC head coach Kieran Roblee.
Rodriguez, a returning sophomore, was a second-team All-Central Valley Conference selection for the Rams last year and helped lead Fresno City to a state championships runner up finish as well as the programs' 17th straight conference title.
FCC opens its 2025 season on August 29 when the Rams will compete at the two-day NorCal vs. SoCal Showcase, hosted by Bakersfield College. The Rams are scheduled to face Grossmont, Bakersfield, Moorpark, and Long Beach.
