With an 11-1 record, Fresno City College captured the 2025-26 Central Valley Conference women's basketball championship. The Rams edged defending champ College of the Sequoias (10-2) by one game to earn the title. FCC last won a CVC championship during the 2023-24 season.
Sequoias was second at 10-2, followed by Lemoore (9-3), Reedley (6-6), Taft (4-8), Merced (2-10), and Porterville (0-12).
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONAL PLAYOFFS
The Central Valley Conference will be represented by six teams in the upcoming 2026 Northern California Regional Playoffs. Brackets were announced on Sunday.
Conference champion Fresno City earned the CVC's top playoff seed as well as a first-round bye for the postseason. With a 21-7 overall record, the Rams enter the playoffs as the region's No. 4 seed and will host a second-round game on Saturday (Feb. 28).
Also receiving a bye for the opening-round is No. 8 Sequoias. The Giants are 17-11 overall and will host a second-round game on Saturday as well.
Reaching the playoffs and competing in first-round games on Wednesday (Feb. 25) are No. 10 Lemoore, No. 16 Reedley, and No. 20 Taft.

COS is set to host 3C2A State Championships on March 13-15 in Visalia.
2025-26 ALL-CVC POSTSEASON AWARDS
Fresno City's Alex Fletcher captured Coach of the Year honors while Alyssa Kem from FCC was named the Central Valley Conference Most Valuable Player to top the list of postseason award winners.
All-conference awards were announced on Saturday.
